Whip and Nae Nae Day[1] was a channel event originally planned as a fakeout for July 7, 2017, but was delayed to July 11.
Background
This event was meant to happen on July 7, 2017.[1] As such it was likely either an event for the date 7/7/17, an event celebrating the first anniversary of the end of the Reboot, or an event celebrating the first anniversary of the rip "When I Wait for the Wind - Kanon".
However, the event was pushed back due to the Hot One Break caused by copyright strikes. It is unknown if the execution of the event was changed in any other ways.
Summary
All rips uploaded featured "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)". Two days later (and 6 days after the event's original planned date), the rips uploaded and several other rips featuring "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" were compiled onto the album .@GiIvaSunner Whips & Nae Naes on Ellen the Generous.
