"Black - Homestuck" is a high quality rip of "Black" from Homestuck.
Jokes
This rip is a remake of "Charles Barkley - Liquid Midnightslammin' (Homestuck: Black vs QCD: Space Jam)" by Icebrigade.
At the start, audio from the scene from Wabbit Twouble that Big Chungus originates from plays, slowed down to match the sample of Eddie Morton's "I'm a Member of the Midnight Crew" from the advertised track. Starting at 0:04, "Space Jam" is mashed up with and pitch-shifted to the advertised track. At 1:22, the melody changes to "Space Jam".
In addition, the thumbnail is edited to contain the following:
- The title is changed to read "HOMERUN" with the Spirograph on the "O" changed to a basketball.
- The cover of "This Oceans Charles" by Charles Barkley, a book that appears in Homestuck, is added over the image.
- The head of Charles Barkley is edited over most of the characters, with some tinted to match the respective character and the Charles Barkley head on Karkat Vantas edited to appear angry.
- The Uber Bunny's head is replaced with an edited Bugs Bunny head.
- Dave Strider is replaced with the basketball player from the 6th comic of sweet bro and hella jeff, recolored to match Dave and with a comic sans "sports" added next to him from 10th comic of sweet bro and hella jeff.
- The scalemate heads are replaced with the heads from a LeBron James dog toy.
- The frogs Jade Harley is carrying are replaced with Michigan J. Frog.
- Gamzee Makara's outline is changed to resemble Mr. Swackhammer.
Trivia
- The album title references the character of Jack Noir from Homestuck, which "Black" is associated with.
- The thumbnail title being changed to read "HOMERUN" is a callback to "Killed by BR8K Spider!!!!!!!! - Alterniabound", a rip which also features "Space Jam".
