SiIvaGunner Wiki:Meme discussion/Log/13th: Google Search: Ice cream nearby
The Google Screaming Ad (formally known as "Google Search: Ice cream nearby") is a meme.
"Google Search: Ice cream nearby" refers to a Google Ad used from 2016 to 2017 that quickly became infamous for the quality of the ad as well as the track used in it, an electronic song of unknown origin (probably composed for the ad) that became the most popular feature of the ad.
Screaming Ad originally appeared in two rips from 2017 before disappearing from the channel until 2024, which is the year it began appearing as a frequent source.
The joke has already had 25 appearances this season, including appearances as the main joke, medleys, and a currently album-exclusive track, becoming one of the most frequent jokes of the season. (this is not related to 25 mania)
The joke also had a brief disappearance for a few months, however it can be seen as intentional due to the name of the rip it came back with: "Kirby's Triumphant Return (OST Version) - Kirby Super Star", after that it kept appearing once again on the channel, even more frequently than before.
I think the joke is relevant enough to be considered a meme on the channel and documented on the wiki.

Yeah, no opinions, I agreed that it should be a meme on the channel by it, specially for how relevant was used (even having fews with visuals in it)
I recommend that, for easier way on the wiki, it should be called as "Google Screaming Ad" for the meme, and use "Google Search: Ice cream nearby" as a redirect link
I dunno if theres other ads that follows the same type, but other than that, I agreed completely!

I think it should be the other way around, with "Google Screaming Ad" redirecting to "Google Search: Ice cream nearby" imo
it's best to go with "Google Screaming Ad", since it what it's normally called by peeps

I am not against using a less common name if it is more correct, but there does not seem to be a more accurate name than Google Screaming Ad. Just be sure to mention the other common names for the meme on the page, and have good redirects.
