"Main Theme - Super Smash Bros. UItimate" is a high quality rip of "Main Theme" from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Jokes

No elements of the advertised track are present in this. Instead, this rip is a parody of the Know Your Moves series by RelaxAlax, who is also featured in this rip, in which RelaxAlax analyzes the characters of the Super Smash Bros. series. In this case, RelaxAlax looks at the character of Robbie Rotten, who is represented in-game as a reskin of Bowser that is wearing Robbie's outfit, makes numerous references to "We Are Number One", LazyTown in general, and other references. The gameplay used is mainly in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

The rip opens with the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate opening that fades into a blue reskin of Captain Falcon who does several flips, referencing Sportacus. At 0:08, Captain Falcon runs by four crouched Robbie Rotten reskin Bowsers, likely a referencing a similar clip from the "We Are Number One" music video. At 0:14, the rip then displays a montage set to the rip "Slider (Number One Mix) - Super Mario 64" with the reskinned Bowsers fighting or doing actions on stages, including several recreations on different clip from the "We Are Number One" music video, using the aforementioned characters. At 0:45, the rip cuts to the "KNOW YOUR MOVES" title card that instead says "SiIvaGunner presents:" at the start and features an outline of Robbie Rotten.

After this, the rest of the rip consists of RelaxAlax discussing Robbie Rotten's inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the following sections:

  • He first discusses Robbie Rotten being the eighth DLC character of the game and several aspects of him, including "Stefán Stefánsson running for the United States president in 2020".
  • He then begins discussing "Robbie Rotten's history" that includes discussing his involvement on LazyTown, several memetic LazyTown songs and the rip "We Are Number One - LazyTown: The Video Game".
  • Next, he gets into the Robbie Rotten Bowser reskin and describes how various Bowser animation reference different aspects of Robbie in LazyTown, such as his idle animation relating to Robbie's mannerisms found in the show. The rip "Bonetrousle (Day 1 Patch) - Undertale" plays during this.
  • He also goes into Robbie's attacks and actions, which also reference various aspects of him in the "We Are Number One" music video.

After these, RelaxAlax begins to discuss Robbie Rotten's final smash move, though is cutoff by Robbie Rotten from the "Don't Let Your Kids Watch It!" meme appearing over. At 5:51, the "To be continued" arrow with "Roundabout" by Yes playing from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure appears over. At 5:54, the Green de la Bean appears, along with a crying laughing emoji and the "Ellen The Generous Be Like" meme.

History

This rip was originally uploaded on January 8, 2017, under the title "Main Theme - Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch". It was conceived as a fake game for the purpose of this rip and was later renamed to "Main Theme - Super Smash Bros. (working title)" following the announcement of the next game in the series in the March 8, 2018 Nintendo Direct. It was then renamed to its current title after the game's full name was revealed at E3 2018.

This rip was made unlisted sometime around July 10 and July 11, 2020, and has been removed from the Super Smash Bros. UItimate playlist. This is most likely because of various controversies regarding RelaxAlax in early July 2020.
