"Expurgation - Madness: Friday Night Funkin' (Tricky Mod)" is a high quality rip of "Expurgation" from Madness: Friday Night Funkin' (Tricky Mod).

Jokes

The rip plays gameplay footage of a modded version of the level with the following changes:

• Tricky has been replaced with Jack Black, while the Tricky minions are replaced with Elmo from Sesame Street. Stop signs replace the warning signs and instakill notes.
  • Both Jack Black and Elmo being present, alongside the presence of stop signs, is a reference to the "Word of the Day" skit from episode 4161 of Sesame Street. Said skit, commonly known as simply "Jack Black's Octagon", has seen frequent usage in YTPMVs, several of which are referenced through the rip's melodyswaps.
• Tricky's vocal samples have been replaced with Jack Black samples, in particular from the aforementioned Sesame Street appearance.
• At 0:40, the vocal melody changes to "Bloomin' Feeling" by Ryu☆, referencing the YTPMV "bloomin' octagon" by yamas03.
• At 0:46 and 0:55, it changes to "Snow Goose" by Mutsuhiko Izumi, referencing "SNOW JACK" by TheSootyTern
• At 0:59, it changes to "Rock My Emotions" by Kitsune^2, referencing "Rock My Octagon" by Norris3942.
• From 1:24 to 1:28 and 1:40 to 1:44, samples from "Inward Singing" by Tenacious D are added to the vocals.
• At 2:21, Jack yells "KYLE!" instead of "HANK!", referencing Kyle Gass, the other half of Tenacious D.
• As is customary with most Friday Night Funkin' rips, Boyfriend dies despite winning the level. In this case, the game over animation is changed to have Boyfriend's "RETRY?" brain replaced with a modified version of the Sesame Street logo with the text changed to "RETRY?".
