"Winter Horrorland (Short Version) - Friday Night Funkin'" is a high quality rip of the short version of "Winter Horrorland" from Friday Night Funkin'.

Jokes

This rip was originally called "Week 7 (Leak) - Friday Night Funkin'"[2] to clickbait and troll the viewers. Relating to this, the top of the christmas tree that appears in the level's intro has a screenshot of a tweet by Kawai Sprite (the game's composer) where he says: "the next FNF week will destroy your hands and ears."[3]

After this, the level starts with Boyfriend singing the first piano notes from "U Guessed It" by OG Maco. He is then followed up by Green de la Bean, replacing Monster, singing a heavily bass-boosted version of "No Words" by Hopsin accompanied by a barrage of fast moving notes. Followed by Boyfriend trying to sing Bean's sections, but fails, resulting in a game over.

Trivia

  • The description originally listed the track as "Week 7 (Leak)", matching the original title, and incorrectly credited it to Kawai Sprite.
  • Like most of the game's rips, the rip originally contained a download link for a file called "Week7LeakRealNotFakeDontLetCamKnow.zip" instead of the playlist link. The file requires a password to access, which is "BRUHLLLLLLFORTNITECRINGE".[4] Inside is a JPEG of the Green de le Bean meme titled "trolled hard". If an archive software (e.g. WinRAR or 7-Zip) is used to open this file, inside there is a JPEG of Dr. Phil holding an L titled "trolled even harder". If an archive software is used again, inside is a "README" text file with ASCII art of the Circle Game hand, the word "gottem" and a link to the actual mod files, albeit with a broken chart.
    • The password matches phrases spelled out by various rips during February 2021.
    • When the rip was renamed, the download link was replaced with one for just the actual mod files, still with the same broken chart.
  • Immediately after the rip was released, Cameron Taylor (a.k.a. ninjamuffin99, the game's programmer) posted on Twitter saying: "week 7 is bean".[5] The tweet was retweeted by SiIvaGunner.
    • He also left a comment on the rip saying "even siiva is leaking files NO WHERE IS SAFE FOR ME". This comment was hearted.[6]
  • This is the second Friday Night Funkin' rip where the game over sequence is triggered due to an actual loss, following "Spookeez".
