The Living Tombstone is an electronic band and youtube channel formed in 2011 by Israeli-born music producer Yoav Landau as a one-man band and later joined by American singer Sam Haft as a musical duo, they are best known for making fansongs on YouTube. They are a meme and minor contributor to the SiIvaGunner channel.

Overview[1]

In 2006, musician Yoav Landau formed the channel Koolfox where he uploaded remixes of songs and gameplays. The Living Tombstone was founded by Landau in 2011 as both a YouTube channel and musical project. Landau, a native of Israel, was involved in the online fan community of the media franchise My Little Pony, where he created a remix of another artist's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan-song. After the remix garnered several thousand views, Landau eventually shifted his focus to various video game communities, creating songs based on video games.

The Living Tombstone's content consists of both original music and homages to various video games and pop culture media, several of which have become popular online. One of the group's first video game-related songs was a trilogy of songs for the first three games in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. The trilogy went viral on YouTube, with each song accumulating hundreds of millions of views; the first video in the series reached over 326 million views by 2023. These games did not have any original music (or much music at all other than ambiance), so the series' fandom popularized The Living Tombstone's music as unofficial theme songs for the series. A remastered version of the first song was used for the credits of the first Five Night's at Freddy's movie adaptation, Five Nights at Freddy's: The Movie. Haft also composed music for the SpindleHorse Toons animated series Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel.

Contributions/Rips

Multiple songs by them have become memes on the SiIvaGunner channel, namely "Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Song", "Goomba Got Back", and "Discord". Aside from their songs that became memes, their other music has been referenced in a few rips, mainly their other Five Nights at Freddy's songs. The first rip to feature their music was "Jewelry Halation (Full Version) - Record of Agarest War 2", which featured "Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Song".

They also created the rip "Main Theme - Five Nights at Freddy's" themselves and helped with the production of Kirbopher's rips.
