"The Bear Cha-Cha-Cha" is a song composed by Peter Lurye for the Playhouse Disney television series Bear in the Big Blue House. It is also a minor meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

History

"The Bear Cha-Cha-Cha" debuted in the Bear in the Big Blue House episode "Picture of Health" on October 24, 1997. The song is a reoccurring Latin-styled dance number that appears across several episodes of the show. It was also released on the compilation album Songs from Bear in the Big Blue House in 1998 and on Bear in the Big Blue House: Greatest Hits in 2005. Additionally, it was featured in Bear in the Big Blue House LIVE! and seen on the talk show Donny & Marie.

There also exists a second version of "The Bear Cha-Cha-Cha", titled "The Firefighter's Cha-Cha-Cha", which appears in the episode "Great Ball of Firefighters". This version contains altered lyrics that solely focus on firefighters and the act of firefighting.

Rips

"The Bear Cha-Cha-Cha" first appeared in the rip "Circus (Cha Cha Cha Mix) - Five Nights at Freddy's", uploaded on June 24, 2020. The song later gained some frequency throughout Season 6, notably during the Newgrounds Day event on April 30, 2022. The event contained rips of Pico vs Bear and Pico vs Bear DX that featured the song, due to the connection to the Bear in the Big Blue House TV show. It returned again for the Bear in the Big Blue House 25th Anniversary event on October 20, 2022. It then became recurring throughout Season 7 and on-ward.
