"Take On Me" is a synthpop single by the Norwegian band a-ha. It is a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.
Overview
"Take On Me" was released in 1985 by a-ha in their first album Hunting High and Low. The song was adapted from "Miss Eerie" from Pål Waaktaar's and Magne Furuholmen's previous band Bridges. "Take On Me" became the number-one single in a dozen countries while its music video also became a cult classic on MTV, featuring a mix of live-action footage and rotoscoped animation. The song was covered by a number of bands over the years including Reel Big Fish, A1, and Ninja Sex Party.
The song appeared in BS Super Mario Collection Week 1 and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
