"Still Alive" is a frequently ripped track from Portal, and a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Summary

"Still Alive" is an acoustic indie rock song written by Jonathan Coulton that plays in the end credits sequence of Portal. It is performed by Ellen McLain in-character as GLaDOS, the game's antagonist, stating that she considers the game's events as a success and confirming that she survived after being defeated by Chell, the game's protagonist. The song was praised for McLain's performance and the writing's humor, becoming very popular in the years since Portal's release. In the end credits of Portal 2, the song was succeeded by "Want You Gone", also written by Coulton and performed by McLain.

The game also contains an upbeat instrumental arrangement of the song, titled "Still Alive (Radio Mix)" in soundtrack releases, which plays in the Aperture Science radios scattered throughout Portal, and later reappearing once in Portal 2. Only the compressed in-game version of this arrangement was publicly available until December 2022, when the digital soundtrack releases were updated to add the original uncompressed version, titled "Still Alive (Radio Mix Clean)".

The first rip of the song, "Still Alive - Portal", was uploaded on the GiIvaSunner channel on March 17, 2016, and was actually a switcheroo with another song of the same title from Mirror's Edge. This rip has not been reuploaded since the GiIvaSunner Termination, but this joke was later referenced in another rip of the same title on May 12, 2016, as well as "Still Alive - Mirror's Edge" on April 15, 2021.

Several rips featuring the song were uploaded during the Gabe Newell Takeover, a channel event dedicated to Valve games and memes.
