"Snow halation - Love Live!" is a high quality rip of "Snow halation" from Love Live!.

Jokes

The rip is an original performance of "Snow halation" with parody lyrics. Unlike most other rips, the song is sung by real people hired by the SiIvaGunner team.

The new lyrics are themed around The Flintstones. The first two choruses are replaced entirely with the singers performing "Meet the Flintstones", including the melody; the 3rd chorus are instead closely translated from the original "Snow halation" lyrics, except the title drop is changed to "Stone halation", the penultimate line is "I wish I was ancient history" (which refers to both the setting of The Flintstones and the ending of the SiIvaGunner channel), and the final line is sung to the melody of the final line in "Meet the Flintstones", with the line being "I'll have a grand dad time", making a single reference to 7 GRAND DAD.

Additionally, the catchphrase is changed to reference Nozomi Tojo's original quote before singing "Snow halation" in the Love Live! School idol project episode "Melody of the Heart". It also references the eight previous rips of "Snow halation" that also reference the other "Because I love X" quotes said by μ's, though unlike those, the quote is unedited and includes no references to the usual "Please read the channel description." catchphrase.

Visuals

Instead of a static background, the rip features a slowly lowering shot of the backdrop featured during the "Snow halation" performance in the anime, with snow falling in the foreground. The song's lyrics are shown on the bottom of the screen. At 0:22-0:23, the screen flashes white 2 times, with an image of Smol Nozomi shown during the second flash. At 3:10, the lighting on the stage in the backdrop changes from blue to yellow, like in the anime. At 3:19, the words "Stone halation" are written in large letters in the middle of the screen, using the same font as the "Snow halation" logo. At 4:03, the camera suddenly darts back up, and a semi-transparent photo of Chad Warden can be seen in the sky.

History

According to Triple-Q's comment, Chaze the Chat tasked him with scouting for singers, but didn't tell him what they were needed for. Apparently several people knew Triple-Q was scouting for singers, but didn't know he was doing it for Chaze or SiIvaGunner. According to a comment by Guillebon, Triple-Q was looking for 10 female singers.

Trivia

• This was uploaded on the 1st anniversary of Triple-Q's tweet that featured Smol Nozomi.
• Despite the video being placed in the Love Live! School idol festival playlist, the title only says Love Live!. The rip's thumbnail is also the front cover art for the "Snow halation" single, which is different from the rest of the playlist.
• As of August 2020, this is the most-disliked SiIvaGunner video, although the dislike percentage is fairly low, unlike the runner-ups "Victory Theme - Overwatch" and "BLOODY STREAM (Story Mode ver.) - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle".
• This was reuploaded to SiIvaGunner2 to celebrate the third anniversary of GiIvaSunner while the main SiIvaGunner channel was terminated. It was unlisted when the main channel came back.
