"Magolor's Shoppe" is an arrangement of "Magolor, the Far-Flung Traveler" heard in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. The track has become a major joke on the channel since The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 took over, appearing in both melody changes and arrangement and receiving similar treatment to "The Noble Haltmann" during Season 2. Several rips of the track have also been uploaded since Season 8 . . .
Now, if we recap a bit, the previous thread failed due to a few factors, which I'll address in this thread:
In the thread, it was mentioned that a potential track category would have issues with naming consistency regarding the "meme" and its status as a FRT. Should the category be called "Rips featuring Magolor, the Far-Flung Traveler" or should the page be renamed to "Magolor's Shoppe"?
In my opinion, I think it should be the second option. Even though "Magolor's Shoppe" is an arrangement of another song and this isn't common practice on the wiki, Shoppe is the track that has relevance in the channel, so in this case, the page should be renamed.
The contents of the frt category would remain essentially the same, but its name would change to reflect Shoppe's status as the track that truly matters in the context of the channel.
This is the central point I want to address, as it's still massive even months after the thread was closed.
Well, it's clear that both Joke Explainer and "Magolor Shoppe" are closely related, with the latter serving as a "theme song" for the character. This led to the popular idea of combining them on the Joke Explainer page, as well as a potential category for the character, under the premise that "JE700 is the main idea".
Now, I don't entirely agree with this idea, mainly because it ignores the track's current FRT status (the FRT topic is something I generally don't want to address in this thread as it's a much larger discussion that's still ongoing) and because... it would look weird, lol. My proposal is actually... simpler than expected, and is based on that idea!
Make "Magolor's Shoppe" a sub-category.
My idea is to create a main category (in the character format seen in categories like Grand Dad, Wood Man, or The Numberphile) for rips featuring The Joke Explainer 7000. This category would include:
- Physical appearances in videos (with a sub-bullet for the JE replica and variants)
- Reused videos
- Appearances via voice clips only
The JE7000 category will also have a sub-category that only includes appearances of "Magolor's Shoppe" and its variants. While there is a slight overlap between the two sources, this shouldn't be a problem. The role of each element in the equation will also be mentioned on their respective pages.
Both The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 and "Magolor's Shoppe" should receive their own category on the wiki. JE700 would have a category under the context of being a recurring character in the same vein as other categories like Smol Nozomi or The Voice Inside Your Head, while "Magolor's Shoppe" would be a subcategory that would include appearances of any version of the song (aka, "File Select" and "Magolor, the Far-Flung Traveler").
The pages should be updated to mention both jokes, including their respective categories on their pages. The Magolor page/frt category should also be renamed to "Magolor's Shoppe" for consistency.

Making one category a subcategory of another - because of the recent shell system, where "featuring" subcategories also count towards their super-category (i.e. "Rips featuring Family Guy Main Title" no longer precludes "Rips featuring Family Guy") - which would mean rips featuring Magolor's Shoppe go into the J.E. category. Is that supposed to be a feature and not a bug? Rudder Madness Day

To be honest, I can see either side, so I guess I can just :Support: anyway, but I wanted to bring that up...
I was just not sure because of how the proposal was written and didn't want the category to get made and then someone is confused why is was made like that lol

its a feature, and the shell (and its minor sources category) shouldn't cause any problems
