SiIvaGunner Wiki:Forking announcement
We have an exciting announcement to make: We have forked from Fandom!
Over the past few months, we've been working in secret to separate from Fandom, on our terms, as well as with the blessing of SiIvaGunner staff and the community.
You can check out the new wiki here: siivagunner.wiki. Before you start editing, please claim your account (see below).
What has changed?
The wiki is now self-hosted by members of the SiIvaGunner Wiki staff. We're relying on donations from the SiIvaGunner community to keep ourselves indie and ad-free. To that end, we'll be running occasional fundraisers to pay for the infrastructure.
The wiki can now take advantage of the Vector 2022 skin, which is used by the likes of Wikipedia and MediaWiki.
Unfortunately, several Fandom-specific features will not be ported over, such as Discussions and Message Walls.
Please also note that some edits made after roughly Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM PDT are not reflected on the new site, as that was approximately when the wiki's data was transferred. Additionally, we are working to restore some edits between July 10 and July 18 that were not reported correctly by Fandom.
We are also working to fix several broken and missing images, as well as incomplete pages. If you see anything missing, please report it in the #help channel in Discord. We are also aware that the Search bar may be slow on the Vector 2022 skin.
Why fork from Fandom?
In late May, the Mysikt wiki was suddenly and unceremoniously closed by Fandom, and forced to move to another host.
Fandom has also limited our editorial control, and have implemented many changes that we disagree with without any input from editors.
We decided that Fandom is not a sustainable place to host, and so we're going indie.
Why the secrecy?
Fandom has been hostile to forking, so much so that some wikis have been penalized for even discussing it publicly.
How do I claim an account?
Please follow the instructions in our account migration page. Note that you should do this as soon as possible. We expect Fandom to make it difficult to migrate accounts soon after this announcement goes live.
What will happen to the old wiki?
We're currently working to have Fandom close the old wiki, as we and SiIvaGunner no longer support Fandom as our host. To that end, we ask that you claim your account as soon as possible, and that you switch to using the new wiki.

Why have some images been downscaled / removed?
We now pay for image hosting out-of-pocket, and we have to be frugal with the amount of server space we use, including that for images. We're funded entirely by donations and we are ad-free, unlike our old host.
