SiIvaGunner Fusion Records, also known as SGFR, is a high quality musical arrangement collective founded by SiIvaGunner. Inspired by similar collectives such as OverClocked ReMix and salvation by faith records (SBFR) (the latter being directly referenced in the name), the group produces arrangements and remixes as tributes for various types of media, which are then uploaded on the SiIvaGunner channel during channel events and subsequently released in albums.[1]

History

Prior to SGFR's formation, the SiIvaGunner channel already regularly referenced SBFR through the special kirbtunes uploads, which are based on the original GilvaSunner's uploads of SBFR's remixes.

SGFR's first album, Halation Celebration ~ 10th Anniversary Tribute to Snow halation, was released on January 1, 2021, as a tribute to "Snow halation" and to celebrate its tenth anniversary. However, as the group hadn't been officially formed yet, it was released as a regular SiIvaGunner album. The group's existence would only be officially announced with the release of its second album, Super Star Symphony, on August 13, 2021, containing various original arrangements of songs from the Kirby franchise. Accompanying this release, the SGFR website was also launched on highquality.rip, which houses direct download links to mirrors of the albums, as well as an "About SGFR" page providing details about the group and how to join it.

From this point onward, new SGFR projects would be released about every six months, sometimes preceded by teasers or posts announcing the start of the project.

  • A third SGFR album was announced to be in development on September 21, 2021.[2] It was later revealed to be Musical Monkey Madness, compiling 41 arrangements of tracks from the Super Monkey Ball franchise. It was revealed and released on January 8, 2022, both as a album and a modpack for Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
  • The next SGFR album was announced to be in development on January 23, 2022.[3] It was later revealed to be PSY 9th Arrangements, released as part of PSY Day 7, featuring 14 arrangements based on PSY's album 싸다9 and 3 arrangements based on his discography outside of 싸다9.
  • On April 12, 2022, in celebration of the SiIvaGunner channel's sixth anniversary, a teaser for an upcoming project was published as a community post and a tweet by @GiIvaSunner.[4][5] On December 4, this project was revealed to be Tactical Stealth Arrangements, a collection of 22 arrangements based on the Metal Gear franchise.
  • On June 24, 2023, the channel began uploading remixes from SGFR's sixth project, Shovelware from Beyond the Deep!, an album dedicated to music from "shovelware" games which was released the next day.
  • On October 2, 2023, the channel began uploading remixes of SiIvaGunner's own rips for SGFR's seventh project, RIP², released on October 7 in celebration of SiIvaGunner's seventh anniversary and the original GilvaSunner's thirteenth anniversary.

SGFR-0006 "It came from the bargain bin! Shovelware from Beyond the Deep! is a collection of arrangements that celebrates soundtracks from some of the less revered categories of video games - budget games, licensed games, and all those other cheapo games your aunt bought you for Christmas. SGFR has pulled these diamonds from the rough and given them the polish and praise they deserve - just because a game is a slog doesn't mean its soundtrack doesn't bop." June 25, 2023

SGFR-0008 "B💣MBERTRACKS is an album focusing on arranges of classic Bomberman tunes both new and old, arranged by the folks at SGFR!! Featuring tracks ranging from the classic NES, all the way to the more recent Super Bomberman R, and even from the 2002-2003 anime, Bomberman Jetters." July 9, 2024
SGFR-0009 "Installer Insanity features arranges from the classic works of keygen music. SGFR has scavenged through plenty of tunes from the depths and has given them a new twist - in celebration of demoscene music! Remember... SGFR does not condone piracy. We only condone music." December 10, 2024
SGFR-0010 "The Steam-Powered Melody Machine is an arrangement album paying tribute to the industry-defining works of Valve. Whether you're into their flagship franchises like Half-Life and Portal, or you prefer their multiplayer games like Team Fortress and Counter-Strike, SGFR has got something for you! After 4 months in development, hopefully it will have been worth the weight." March 25, 2025
