The passing of Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata was commemorated with a channel event in 2016.
Summary
Partway through the day, the livestream "SiIvaDirect (7/11 2016) - The World Premiere of a Brand New High Quality Rip" was held, in reference to the Nintendo Direct series of update livestreams that were usually hosted by Iwata. Afterwards, most of the rips uploaded were of various games Iwata worked on or produced. Additionally, many of the rips would feature catchphrases referencing Iwata's frequently used phrases in Nintendo Directs, mainly "Please understand the channel description", as well as "Please read the channel description, delivered directly to you." and "Please take a look at the channel description.".
In addition, in reference to the rip "Main Theme - Five Nights at Freddy's" being first premiered during the aforementioned SiIvaDirect stream, a handful of other rips uploaded during the day were of various songs from Five Nights at Freddy's.
