"Respite - Undertale" is a high quality rip of "Respite" from Undertale.
Jokes
The rip starts off normally, but at 0:20, a piano note cuts the rest of the track off and fades with an echo, only to fade back in shortly after. Immediately after, the rip becomes a mashup between "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement ft. Ryan Tedder and the advertised track, which is rearranged to have the same tempo and 4/4 time signature as "Rocketeer", as incorporating percussion and other elements from other Undertale tracks such as "Don't Give Up".
History
This rip was made both the featured video and channel trailer on March 14, 2025, after the release of "News of Jay's Death - The Ignition Factor".
Trivia
- In the album version of the rip, the "1-Up" jingle from Super Mario Bros. plays when "Super Mario" is said during "Rocketeer"'s lyrics.
