"Puzzle Room (Program Rhythm) (Beta Mix) - Kirby Planet Robobot" was a high quality rip of the beta mix of "Puzzle Room (Program Rhythm)" from Kirby Planet Robobot.

Jokes

"Puzzle Room" is mashed up with "My Sharona" by The Knack.

The track starts normally, but quickly changes to resemble "My Sharona". At 0:06, the drums from "My Sharona" starts playing and "Puzzle Room" plays "My Sharona"'s electric guitar and bass riff.

During the harmonic progressions, the distorted bass from "Puzzle Room" plays the rhythm and melody of "My Sharona"'s bass.

From 1:27 to 1:38, it plays "Continue?" screen from Felix the Cat, a reference to the Puzzle Room incident, then it keeps playing the mashup until 2:21.

Later at 2:28, "Title Theme & Ending" from The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy can be heard in the background.

Trivia

  • This rip was originally titled "Puzzle Room (Beta Mix) - Kirby Planet Robobot".[1] It was renamed to include GilvaSunner's title of the track ("Program Rhythm") by January 19, 2017.[2]
  • This rip was removed in December 2018 due to a copyright claim on "My Sharona".
  • The "platform" references the joke, since Felix the Cat is a Sega Genesis bootleg.
