Purb (possibly standing for Purple Brainless) is an original character based off of the Brainless Kitty meme. They are featured within the Brainless Kitty Arc and serve as a henchman to Evil as Shit Brainless.
Description
Purb is a purple recoloring of the normal Brainless Kitty image, which is speculated to be an exotic shorthair breed. Purb is also notably small compared to Nice Brainless, and from their behavior is implied to fit the archetype of an incompetent henchman, which could imply immaturity.
On the channel
Purb first appears on the channel in "Take On Me but it's in the Super Mario 64 Soundfont (Music Video)", where they are seen bouncing around at 1:13 near the ceiling fan, as the only colored Brainless Kitty apart from Evil as Shit Brainless.
In Mail for the Mario Brothers (Demo Version) - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Silentó receives an email from Purb. The email's text and purpose is an allusion to the ChainmailChasers ARG (which involves a villain using the internet to propagate themselves.) Silentó clicks the email and an image of Evil Brainless appears, which implies that Purb sent the email in order to resurrect Evil Brainless King after his defeat in "Take On Me".
Purb's next appearance would be in the rip "Candy Mountain (Demo Version) - Kirby Super Star", where they are seen sitting next to Evil Brainless' throne, confirming their previously implied allegiance to the ruler. This continues into "SAVE the World 2 - Undertale 2", where they hop across Evil Brainless' throne and press a button to release Evil Brainless and various Brainless monsters. Later into the fight, when Evil Brainless is away from the throne, Purb shiftily pulls out a laptop computer, which has several windows open. They receive an iMessage from Evil Brainless requesting that the "Sploo Goo 2000" be deployed, but instead open Discord and start using the Mudae Discord bot. This angers Evil Brainless, and when the heroes reach the throne Evil Brainless already has the Sploo Goo 2000, implying he took care of the deployment himself. Purb ultimately watches the final showdown from a distance, and is visibly frightened when Evil Brainless is killed, running away hastily.
It is currently unknown if Purb will make any appearances past this rip, with them possibly dying in the destruction of the Evil Brainless castle.
