"Main Theme - Mighty No. 9" is a high quality rip of the main theme from Mighty No. 9.
Jokes
No elements of the advertised track or game are present in this rip.
Instead, the rip consists of audio of VoiceForge Wiseguy (the voice of SiIvaGunner) apologizing for not releasing a rip of "Main Theme", and promising they will release it as soon as possible.
The apology itself uses the official clarification about the release of the game Mighty No. 9 published on January, 2016, though with changes throughout that more pertain to the rip itself. A transcript in comic sans font is also written over the thumbnail, except for the last sentence, at 1:31, with the thumbnail cutting to black. This implies that the last sentence: "(But we already have your money anyway, suckers!)" is hidden from the fans.
30 minutes later, the rip "Main Theme (OST Version) - Mighty No. 9" would be uploaded with it being bad on purpose, due to Mighty No. 9 turning to be average by many.[1][2]
History
The rip was released the same day the base game came out in North America, June 21, 2016.
This rip and "Main Theme (OST Version) - Mighty No. 9" were collaborations between multiple different members. Matsu Muhō proposed to make an apology video. The text of the apology and the recording of the text-to-voice speech were made by other members, and the video was finally edited and rendered by Matsu Muhō.[3]
