== Summary ==
On November 13, 2017, the SiIvaGunner team announced that they were guests at MAGfest through the video "[[A MAGnificent Announcement (SilvaGunner at MAGFest 2018!)]]".

During MAGfest, the team hosted several streams:
*"[[MAGFest with Gadget]]" on January 3, 2018.
*January 4, 2018: "[[Live A Live Live]]", "[[- intermission -]]", "[[Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix lv1 CM]]", "[[Mario kart 8]]".
...all of which were later put into the ''[[:Category:Haltmann's Archives|Haltmann's Archives]]'' playlist.

During the panel, members of the team talked about the SiIvaGunner channel, including its time as [[GiIvaSunner]], the [[Reboot]], the [[Season 1 Finale]], [[The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis]], the [[Monochrome Pause]], the various takeovers ([[Inspector Gadget]], [[SilvaGunner: Rebooted 1st Anniversary|Reboot Anniversary]], [[Wood Man]]), and 2018's [[Season 3]] while they wait for the CCC to finish. [[ShonicTH]] hosted a segment on making a [[rip]]. After this, [[Chaze the Chat]] announced that [[Grand Dad]] would appear in Episode 11 of the CCC. Then, a Q&A segment was held where fans asked the team several questions. A music video for [[My Way (short ver.) - The SiIvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis Original Soundtrack]] was shown as the "MAGFest trailer" for the CCC, and then the team thanked the audience with "[[Minecraft with Gadget]]".

Attendees were given access to the album ''[[Now That's What I Call Quality!]]'', which was not released publicly until over a month later.

I had just- first, I made the first rip which... was, um... the [[Battle! (Wild Pokémon) - Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire|Ruby & Sapphire Pokémon battling theme]]. I just changed it to [[Meet the Flintstones|''The Flintstones'' theme]]. Um, and, um, it was just, like, supposed to be a little joke that I made for my friends and... my friends really seemed to find it really funny, so I uploaded it to my SoundCloud and then-  ''[Audience member: "Yeah SoundCloud!"]'' I had an idea, like, what if I uploaded it and pretended it was real- like, pretended it was a real song, um... So, after I uploaded it- or, well, first I needed a channel and I thought [of] GilvaSunner the music video uploader- he was- he was popular, so I was like, okay, let's make him.  Um, so, like, I basically made [[GiIvaSunner]] which was supposed to pose as him, and I uploaded the first rip as... like, basically matching his format as best I could. Um, and then one of my friends noticed it and was like, "Hey can I upload something?" And I was like, "Sure." So then he sent me a rip, and then we just kept expanding, and more of my friends started submitting things and it just kinda... kinda blew up. Um, and then we had multiple celebr- or like, internet celebrities find it and start promoting us on Twitter and stuff, and that lead to increasing in subscribers at a massive rate.}}

{{Dialogue|Hinchy|And right around this time, you know, I was just no one, I didn't know any of these people and a friend of mine just, one day, he sent me sent me a video it was- it looked like it was from GilvaSunner, said uh, "[[Delfino Plaza - Super Mario Sunshine]]" ''[Crowd reacts.]'' "And down the rabbit hole I went." ''[Crowd laughs.]''}}
{{Dialogue|Chaze|Okay, so after- around this time, um, I started planning the first [[Albums|album]], because I was like, 'Okay, we're getting big and I think people are really starting to get curious, um, who's making the songs or whatever.' So, um, I started planning the album and, um, the production of the first album was really stressful for me because I had never done something like this before. I had to coordinate things with everyone. Um, um, the trailer like, was given to me like 5 hours before the album was supposed to come out. So it was- it was really stressful but, um, we eventually got it out and, um, I think the first album was one of our best despite it having some "theory" problems, and just all around kind of messiness. But, um, that lead into, um, a few days later we ended up getting shut down. The original GiIvaSunner channel got shut down and on April, um, 5th or 6th, uh, one of those days...}}
{{Dialogue|Hinchy|It's worth noting that the real GilvaSunner was cool with us. We actually had just done [[April Fools' Day 2016|an April Fools thing]] where we basically swapped for a day. Uh, the real GilvaSunner uploaded one of our 'high quality rips', and we just uploaded real actual unaltered game music that sounded like it was going to turn into The Flintstones but didn't." ''[Windows alert sound plays]''. "Oh go away, I don't need ''[unintelligible as crowd becomes rowdy]''" "I ju- I just reinstalled Windows 10. There is ''nothing'' bad on this machine... except for [[Wood Man]].}}
{{Dialogue|Chaze|Okay, so after GiIva got shut down for impersonation, I was like, okay, so now I should probably-- I didn't want to try fighting YouTube because I probably didn't have a very good case against it.  So I was like-- okay, so this requires a little bit of a history lesson.  There was a YouTube channel prior to GilvaSunner called [[SilvaGunner]], and they got deleted for copyright reasons, and GilvaSunner was created as like a tribute to SilvaGunner, so I was like, okay, what if we did a reverse of that, and we came back as SiIvaGunner.  So that's what we did, and we planned, like, [[The Phantom Rips: SiIVa has come to|a ''Metal Gear'' album]] and everything, and we came back just a few days after we got shut down, and we got almost as big as we were within a few months.  It was great.  And then we kept uploading for a little bit, and then we got to a point where [[Snow halation]], one of our big memes, ''[crowd cheers, and somebody yells, "GOD, NO!"]'' was starting to get a lot of mass dislikes, so what we did was we made [[MEGALOVANIA (OST Version) - Undertale|a video]] where [[Chad Warden]], the infamous internet troll who loves Sony and PlayStation 3, and hates-- ''[responding to audience members]'' um, yeah, the PS Triple... and we had him yell at the Snow halation haters, and we made [[Megalovania (Beta Mix) - EarthBound Halloween Hack|another Chad Warden video]] after that, but it didn't really stop the dislikes, so what we did was we-- in one day we hatched a scheme called [[SilvaGunner: Rebooted|The Reboot]], and what we did was we got rid of The Flintstones and Snow halation, and our other running joke, [[Loud Nigra|The World's Loudest Orgasm]], and we replaced them with [[The Simpsons|the ''Simpsons'' theme]] and [[Family Guy|the ''Family Guy'' theme]], and [[GO MY WAY!!]] from ''THE iDOLM@STER'', and the [[Howie scream]].  And along with this, we did a storyline and [[Reboot ARGs|an alternate reality game]], or otherwise known as an ARG, and basically, we basically kept up the story.  This was like the first time we'd ever kept up, like, a story alongside the channel. ''[An audience member shouts, "[[Lore]]!"]'' Yeah, lore!  ''[Two different audience members shout, "Is this lore?"]''  And then, the Reboot ended with Snow halation and all the other songs coming back and the universes merging.  So then we basically got rid of all the other running jokes besides GO MY WAY!!, we still use that one.}}
{{Dialogue|Hinchy|Also, that said alternate reality game, we required people to watch through an entire 30-minute episode of ''[[The Nutshack]]'', so that also became a running joke.}}
{{Dialogue|Chaze|Okay, so, with that, we entered the era called the "Post-Reboot" era, and this is when we were starting to come up with kind of original running-- or like, not entirely original, but like... we started using The Nutshack a lot, which started really blowing up, and then we started using the [[POKEMON GO SONG!!!]] by Misha, and [[We Are Number One]], and things like that, and then after that, I decided that the channel, I didn't really think that we could really do much more with the channel, so I decided [[Season 1 Finale|to end the channel]] on September 30th, 2016, and we stopped, we're not uploading any more.  No!  Um...}}

Like, we were going to do [[The SilvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special|a Halloween event]], which we did, and then we were gonna do [[The SilvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis|a Christmas event]], which we also did, and we are still currently in.  Happy Christmas 2016, everyone!}}

{{Dialogue|Chaze|So the Christmas event was basically to bring back the story element of the series, and it just became a huge undertaking, and the story itself-- the videos were harder to make than it seemed, so the Christmas special videos are still being made, but they're just hard, like-- they're just-- they take a long time, so that's why they're not out.}}
{{Dialogue|Hinchy|And they continually became more elaborate as we went on.  You know, at first it was just a very simple visual novel format that required a lot less individual, you know, pieces of art for individual moments of scenes, and it just... it just, you know, snowballed.}}

{{Dialogue|Chaze|And then the team, the backroom team, was getting frustrated with how long it was taking to make the Christmas episodes, so we decided to [[Monochrome Pause|pause the channel]] on Valentine's Day.}}
{{Dialogue|Hinchy|We really did intend for SiIvaGunner to end entirely, forever, at the end of Christmas 2016, when we did the whole twelve episodes of the series, it's just that... there's still two more episodes.}}
{{Dialogue|Chaze|So anyway, we paused the channel, and we stayed paused for about a month and a half, and then in the beginning of April, I decided, okay, so since the CCC's taking a while or whatever, why don't we just continue uploading?  And I basically got my passion back for uploading rips and stuff, so I made a lot more rips, and I think a lot of other people did too.  And then around this time, we started having more takeovers.  Like we did an [[Inspector Gadget takeover]] where [[Inspector Gadget]] took over the channel.  He took over the channel for a week and a half.  It was intended to be a week, but we got such a negative response to the Gadget rips that we decided to extend it another half a week.  And we also had, for the anniversary of the Reboot, we had [[SilvaGunner: Rebooted 1st Anniversary|Chad Warden Day]], where he uploaded rips of [[Chicken and Chips]].  And we had an event for [[Wood Man's Debut 1st Anniversary|Wood Man's birthday]], who is a big part of the channel.}}

So basically people just would transcribe a few bars of melody, like eight or so, and put it into G-sharp minor or G-sharp major, and send it to us and fill in the spreadsheet.  It only took me a couple hours to write the scripts that assembled all the midis that were submitted into one big long midi, and we basically just imported that into FL Studio and ran it through a VST that makes a square wave that sounds like the NES.  So it was a lot of work by a lot of people, we had a lot of fun making it, and it got way out of hand.  I don't think we ever though it was going to be an hour and 41 minutes.}}</poem>
