The seventeenth anniversary of the release of I Am Your Gummy Bear by Gummibär was celebrated on the SiIvaGunner channel with a channel event in 2024.
Summary
All rips uploaded on this day involved songs or games featuring Gummibär, mostly "I'm a Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)".
The banner was modified to add Gummibär dressed as a caveman from the "BANGA MAN" music video to the lighthouse.
The event was teased six hours prior with a community post, simply saying "Look...". This is a reference to the promotional line for the album in the video "The Gummy Bear Song - Long English Version", "Look for the Gummibär album in stores on November 13th, with lots of music, videos and extras!", which became an internet meme in 2019.
Later in the day, the profile picture was changed to depict The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 as Gummibär as he appears in the music video for "I'm a Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)". There was also a second community post with said picture included, featuring the caption "...for the Gummy Bear album in stores on November 13th with lots of rips, videos and extras!". Additionally, "Unfounded Revenge / Smashing Song of Praise (Short Version) - Super Smash Bros. Brawl" was set as the channel's featured video.
At the end of the event, the video "A Gummy Announcement" announced the release of the album These Are My Gummy Rips. Later, "Type B (Alpha Version) - Tetris" was set as the channel's featured video.
