Overview

"Five Nights at Freddy's" is an electropop song by The Living Tombstone, released on September 14, 2014. The song, as its name suggests, is based on Five Nights at Freddy's and is from the perspective of the children's souls trapped in the animatronics. The song is among The Living Tombstone's most popular, with its official YouTube upload having garnered over 300 million views.

On August 7, 2023, the song was certified Gold in the United States.

On October 27, 2023, The Living Tombstone released a "Goth Remix", made in collaboration with Black Gryph0n and Baasik. This release also featured a "Remastered" version of the original song; said version was used for the credits of Five Nights at Freddy's: The Movie, which released the same day.

Rips

"Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Song" was first referenced by SiIvaGunner in the rip "Main Theme - EA Play 2016", released on June 12, 2016. Many early rips of the song were in referenced to the "I have a request - its five nights of snop dog" comment by crimpsonfang9 with them being featured in rips with Snoop Dogg. This would build up to the rip "Main Theme - Five Nights at Freddy's" which is a mashup of "Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Song" and "Drop It Like It's Hot" by Snoop Dogg.

Following this rip, "Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Song" has been referenced in various rips throughout the channel's history, including various other "Main Theme" rips from Five Nights at Freddy's. It also commonly appears in rips during Halloween events on the channel. On October 11th, 2024, it was confirmed by Yoav Landau, founder and primary member of The Living Tombstone, that at some point, he granted the SiIvaGunner team access to the song's original project file.
