"Electric Zoo" is a track from SpongeBob SquarePants. It's a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Background

"Electric Zoo"[1] is a short techno loop by SpongeBob writer Paul Tibbit which is used diegetically in the episode "Krab Borg" (Season 3, Episode 9). In this episode, Mr. Krabs hears the track on the radio and loves it, saying he feels 'completely recharged' after listening to it. He then calls the radio station to ask if they can play it again, but refers to it as "the one that goes bee-boo-boo-bop, boo-boo-beep". He then dances to it in a robotic way. All of these actions cause SpongeBob to believe Mr. Krabs is a robot impostor and the episode continues with that premise.

Due to SpongeBob's popularity, references to this episode can be found sporadically online, but the dialogue of Mr. Krabs trying to identify the track by beeping would become a more concrete meme in the YTPMV community starting in the mid-2010s.

Rips

On SiIvaGunner, both the track itself and Mr. Krabs's interpretation of it are used in several rips, such as "Wood Man Stage (US Version) - Mega Man 2", "Ashley's Song (Beta Mix) - WarioWare: Touched!", and "Soul 0 System - Kirby Planet Robobot". It is largely featured in medley rips.

The meme was used throughout the King for Another Day Tournament to represent the character Mr. Krabs: an edited scene from the episode is used in the character introduction video "Play That Song Again", the song is the basis for the arrangement of "1NF3$+@+!0N (Electric Zoo Remix)", and both jokes are featured within an arrangement of "Crab Rave" by Noisestorm in "Mr. Krabs Rave".

The meme was also used frequently throughout the SpongeBob SquarePants 25th Anniversary event.
