E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is a 1982 adventure video game developed and published by Atari, Inc. for the Atari 2600 and based on the film of the same name. The game is notable for it's low quality graphics and confusing gameplay, which makes often cited as one of the worst video game of all time, alongside being contributing factor to the video game crash of 1983.
