"Baka Mitai (Short Version) - Yakuza 0" is a high quality rip of the short version of "Baka Mitai" from Yakuza 0.
Jokes
The lyrics "Dame da ne" and "Dame yo" from the advertised track are chopped up, stretched and retuned to the melody of "Wellerman". It most closely resembles the version made by The Longest Johns.
The sound of Kiryu angrily punching a table from Yakuza Kiwami 2 replaces the "Huh!" before the chorus; it plays normally before the first chorus, and plays both forwards and backwards before the second. The chorus is sung by all four characters from the Yakuza games who can sing "Baka Mitai": Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, and Taiga Saejima from Yakuza 5, and Yu Nanba from Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon.
For the visuals, the thumbnail appears onscreen for a short time at the start of the rip, then fades out to a video of Kiryu singing, which has been cut around to match "Wellerman"'s melody. During the chorus, all four characters each take up a quarter of the screen. At 0:20, the visuals switch to "Fall Guys Sings Baka Mitai / Dame Da Ne ( 3D ANIMATION ) MEME" by ItsChimodonYT, edited to match the new melody. The chorus then plays again, with the aforementioned ItsChimodonYT video superimposed over the screen. At 0:40, "Fire truck - Dame Da Ne (Baka Mitai)" by Jarizard is superimposed over. At 0:51, the thumbnail fades back in and the video ends.
The video has Japanese subtitles, with most lyrics written in hiragana and others arbitrarily transliterated into the Latin alphabet. During the chorus, the captions split into four groups, one for each character, and are coloured differently to represent them: red for Yu Nanba, yellow for Shun Akiyama, dark blue for Kazuma Kiryu, and light blue for Taiga Saejima. At 0:39, Yu Nanba's caption for "da" is transliterated into the Cyrillic alphabet, likely a reference to the Russian word "да", meaning "yes".
Oddly, despite the lyrics being in Japanese, the caption language is instead set to Croatian.
