Jokes
The advertised track is mashed up with "Moshi Moshi" by Poppy. Starting at 0:55, a modified version of "Your Best Friend" is incorporated into the mashup.
At 2:39, a golden retriever from the Nintendogs thumbnail can be seen underneath the Sonic Rush logo, sliding from the left side of the screen to the center. On the other side, the Annoying Dog from Undertale appears, accompanied by a cameo of "Dogsong". The golden retriever gets shocked and runs to the left as he is chased by the Annoying Dog.
At 3:09, the melody of "Your Best Friend" is changed to play "Meet the Flintstones".
Trivia
- There could be a reason as to why "Moshi Moshi" and "Your Best Friend" are used as the jokes. "Moshi Moshi" has the line, "It's time to say hello to a new day and have a cup of tea with my very best friend", referencing the titles of the advertised track and "Your Best Friend".
