Joke

There is no actual track titled "12:13 AM" in Slender: The Eight Pages; the title plays off the rip being uploaded at 12:13 PDT.

Instead, the rip is an audio-only skit, that begins with a family is happily celebrating a birthday, accompanied by a birthday cake with four lit candles. However at 0:11, a phone begins ringing, with the father answering. Heavy breathing, which comes from certain vocals of "Smooth" by Santana featuring Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20, begins playing as the father begins asking what the person wants, before a heavily distorted sentenced-mixed "YOUR LIFE" from "Smooth" plays. The father then hangs up the phone, as he exclaims that "he" has found us and the family needs to hide, as a door begins knocking. After a moment, the Father begrudgingly decides to open the door, seeing no other choice, with telling the family he loves them.

At 0:43, the door opens, as the visuals show a yellow glow on the bottom left, as the opening of "Smooth" fades in, with the guitar melody changed to "Meet the Flintstones". At 0:53, the candles go out, as "Smooth" gets bit-crushed right before the rip ends.
